How we work together.
A simple, transparent process so you always know what is happening and what comes next.
Discovery
Understand your goals and constraints.
We start with a conversation about your business, what is not working today, and what a “win” looks like in the next 3–6 months.
What you get
- •30–60 minute strategy call
- •Summary of goals, risks, and constraints
- •Initial rough scope and timeline
- •High-level budget range
Blueprint
Map the system before building.
We define pages, flows, and integrations so you can see how everything fits together before we write production code.
What you get
- •Site map and key user journeys
- •Wireframes or mockups of core screens
- •Feature list with priorities (must-have vs later)
- •Updated timeline and estimate
Build
Design, code, and integrations.
I build the frontend, backend, and automations in small, reviewable chunks so you can react early instead of all at once at the end.
What you get
- •Staging environment you can click through
- •Integrated services (payments, email, auth, etc.)
- •Performance and basic accessibility checks
- •Weekly or milestone-based check-ins
Launch
Ship and hand off.
We run through final tests, fix edge cases, and go live. I walk you through how everything works so you are comfortable using it.
What you get
- •Production deployment
- •Live walkthrough via Zoom or recorded video
- •Admin overview so you can manage content
- •Source code, environment notes, and credentials (where applicable)
Ongoing Support
Stay flexible after launch.
Some clients manage everything themselves. Others keep me on for a few hours each month. We will pick what works for your team.
What you get
- •Optional monthly retainer or hourly support
- •Bug fixes and small improvements
- •Feature additions as your needs change
- •Periodic check-ins if you want them
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about working together.
How long does a project take?
Most marketing sites take 2–4 weeks once we start. Web apps and AI automation projects range from 4–10 weeks depending on complexity. We will agree on a realistic timeline before we begin.
Do I own the code and content?
Yes. You own the code, designs, and data. There is no vendor lock-in or required subscription beyond the tools we agree on.
Can you work with my existing site or app?
Often, yes. I can extend an existing codebase, clean up problem areas, or rebuild just the parts that are holding you back. If it is not a fit, I will tell you upfront.
What if I don’t know exactly what I need?
That is normal. Discovery and blueprint translate your goals into a concrete plan, including a recommended first version that fits your budget.
How do payments work?
Projects are typically split into milestones—such as deposit, after blueprint approval, and pre-launch. For ongoing work, we can use a simple monthly retainer or hourly billing.
What if you run into something outside your expertise?
I will tell you. If it is close to my stack, I will research and validate an approach. If not, I will recommend someone else or a different path instead of guessing.
Have a project in mind?
If the process feels right but the details are fuzzy, that’s okay. The first step is a conversation.
